Patrick Thurman

Patrick Thurman is a Nashville native with nearly 20 years of experience practicing law. He obtained his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was a staff member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he majored in accounting.

After law school, Patrick returned to Nashville where he began his legal career with a judicial clerkship with Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle of the Davidson County Chancery Court. After his clerkship, he joined a local civil litigation defense law firm where he gained valuable experience on the defense side of litigation.

For more than a decade, Patrick has helped injured victims and their families obtain justice when they have been injured due to the negligence of others. He primarily handles car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, premises liability claims, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims, as well as various other civil litigation matters.

Patrick is a member of several legal organizations, including the Tennessee Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association. Patrick was recently named one of Tennessee’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only organization of qualified civil plaintiff and criminal defense trial lawyers.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys attending Nashville SC games and spending time with his wife and two children. He’s also a licensed soccer coach and volunteers for a local youth soccer club.
