Lyon Chadwick graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2005, attending the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors college. After obtaining his B.A. (Psychology), he went on to study at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he worked with the Mississippi Innocence Project under the tutelage of Director Tucker Carrington. Following law school, Lyon successfully sat for the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Exams before moving to Nashville and beginning his legal career as an attorney for the State of Tennessee.
He entered private practice in 2012 and spent the next ten years handling complex personal injury cases, with a specialized focus on medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil rights. His significant case results and innovative approach garnered recognition from his peers, positioning him as a respected figure within his professional circles and the broader legal community. Lyon's accolades include recurring distinctions as a Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Star from 2019 to 2023 as well as a spot on the roster of America's Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys.
Committed to advancing the legal field, Lyon maintains active affiliations with the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. His comprehensive expertise in personal injury cases spans across all Tennessee Federal and State Courts.
From a family of talented artists, musicians and athletes, Lyon’s achievements extend beyond his legal endeavors. His background as a classically trained violinist and working musician led to a range of appearances on stage and screen and, as the son of an ITA Hall of Fame tennis coach, he still enjoys time on the courts. Lyon attributes his professional achievements to the steadfast support of his esteemed wife, Toni Chadwick, and takes immense pride in their two beautiful daughters, Bailey and Harper.
