The Best Law Firms list is in its fifth consecutive year. Every year, U.S. News compiles a list of top rated firms who have shown excellence in their field of service. The rankings are based on the law firms’ results, client reviews, and peer feedback. A committee extensively reviews all the information they gather on nominated candidates and choose based on the reviews.
The firms are ranked into different tiers and are listed based on metropolitan or national scales. The committee ranks based on the lawyers’ abilities, their integrity, and their professionalism. Awards are given in 74 national practice areas and 120 metropolitan areas.
Once compiled, the 2015 “Best Law Firms” appear in two publications, distributed to potential clients and the masses.
