Helicopter Crash in Tennessee Kills 5

A tourist helicopter crashed in eastern Tennessee on Monday afternoon. As a result, five people were killed.

According to initial reports, no homes were damaged and nobody on the ground was harmed when the helicopter crashed. The helicopter was a Bell 206 sightseeing helicopter. A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration said that the crash was reported around 3:30 P.M. and that the fire had completely destroyed the helicopter.

The individuals on board were sightseeing 200 miles east of Nashville, roughly three miles from the theme park, Dolly Parton’s Dollywood. Investigators claim that there is not much left of the helicopter which reportedly crashed at the foot of the mountain after coming down the side.

It is not currently known what caused the helicopter to crash and the investigation is ongoing.
